Downtown
Size: Medium
Style: Urban streets with tall buildings
Best Modes: Turf War, Chaos
Skill Level: Beginner friendly
Downtown is the most open map in Hood Warfare 2, with wide streets and rooftop vantage points.
Map Layout
Downtown is built around a central intersection with four main routes radiating out:
- Main Street - Wide open road, dangerous to cross
- Alley System - Tight side routes for flanking
- Rooftops - High ground overlooking the intersection
- Building Interiors - Close-quarters fights inside
Key Positions
The Intersection (Center)
The most contested area. Controlling it means controlling the map, but you're exposed from four directions. Never stand in the open - use the cover cars and barricades.
Rooftop Overlook
Accessible via two stairwells. Excellent sightlines over the intersection and main street. Watch the stairwells - enemies will flank you.
Bank Building
Large interior with multiple entrances. Good for holding a position with a team. Shotguns and SMGs do well inside.
Alley Ambush Points
The alleys connect the outer streets. Perfect for flanking players who are focused on main street.
Strategy
Early Game
Rush the rooftop overlooking the intersection. High ground early gives your team map control and information.
Mid Game
Hold two of the four outer routes. Don't overextend into the enemy spawn.
Late Game
If ahead, play safe from power positions. If behind, use the alleys to flank.
Best Weapons
| Weapon | Why |
|---|---|
| Sniper | Long sightlines down main street |
| Assault Rifle | Versatile for all ranges |
| MP5 | Works in the alleys and interiors |
Avoid shotguns on the streets - you'll never get close enough.
Callouts
- "Mid" - The central intersection
- "Roof" - Rooftop overlook
- "Bank" - The bank building
- "Alley" - Any of the side alleys

Common Mistakes
❌ Crossing main street without smoke ❌ Standing on the rooftop in the open ❌ Ignoring the alleys (flanks come from there) ❌ Using shotguns outside buildings
